Buttermilk-Mor Kuzhambu (Step by Step photos)

Ingredients to grind

Jeera - 1 tsp
Half cup coconut flakes
chili according to taste
ginger 1 inch piece.

Ingredients to powder

Half a tsp of Coriander seeds, fenugreek, urad dhal, 
Toor dhal, Chana Dhal. 

Pumpkin Diced into big chunks

Boil Pumpkin with salt added

Making of the curry

Fry the ingredients to powdered, do not add oil.

Ground masala, powdered masala and buttermilk

let the boiled pumpkin cool-down.

Add the ground masala

A tsp of turmeric

Half of the powdered masala

Add buttermilk

When the curry makes small boils, switch off the heat, the curry is done. Do not over boil the curry. 
As we have added buttermilk, the curry will curdle when over cooked.

Add the remaining powdered masala and season with mustard curry leave and red chili.
