Mutton Dalcha


Mutton Dalcha 


A perfect combination for biryani.


Ingredients:



  • Goat meat - 1 lbs. 
  • Toor dal - 1/2 cup, 
  • chana dal - 1/4 cup. 
  • green chilli - 2 nos. 
  • Raw manago - 1 nos. 
  • egg palnt - 2 nos
  • onion - 1 no
  • tomatoes -1 no
  • tamarind - 1 lemon size. 
  • whole spices. 
  • cinnamon stick. 
  • fennel powder. 
  • bay leaves - 3. 
  • green caradamon- 3 pods. 
  • ginger and garlic paste - 1 tbsp. 
  • chilli powder - 1 tbsp. 
  • coriander powser - 1 tbsp. 
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp. 
  • garam masala - 1 tsp. 
  • curry leaves - few.
  • avocado oil - 2 tbsp.  


Recipe. 

Pressure cook meat and dal for 15 min on medium heat.
Once the pressure is released, add chopped tomatoes, egg plant, mangoes.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala.
In a saute pan, add avocado oil, add the whole spices, curry leaves, green chilli and chopped onion.
Add the sauteed onions to the cooked dalcha.
Serve dalcha with spicy hot briyani.
