Pepper chicken

This is super easy pepper chicken recipe.

Boneless chicken thighs/ breast 1 lbs
Peppercorn 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tbsp.
Garlic 6 pods.
Red chilli 2. No.
Shallots 4 halved.
Curry leaves and cilantro for garnishing
Sesame oil. 2 tbsp
Salt for taste
Garam masala optional.


Using a mortar and pestle, grind the peppercorn, cumin, fennel and garlic pods together.
In a shallow pan, heat the oil and add red chilli and shallots. Saute them for a minute or two.
Add chicken, salt, Curry leaves, garam masala (optional),  ground pepper mixture.
Saute for 5-6 mins.
Remove from heat and garnish with cilantro.
